Christine inducted to UC San Diego Athletics Hall of Fame

We are so proud of Christine who in October 2013 was inducted to the first-ever Athletics Hall of Fame for her college achievements in tennis.  She was one of eight inductees representing various sports.

Christine’s awards in college included:

• Two NCAA D-III team national championships (1987, 1989)
• NCAA D-III national champion in singles (1990)
• NCAA D-III national champion in doubles (1989, w/Nancy Calhoun)
• NCAA D-III national runner-up in singles (1988)
• NCAA D-III national quarterfinalist in singles (1989)
• Member of UCSD’s NCAA D-III national runner-up team (1990)
• Member of UCSD’s NCAA D-III national third-place team (1988)
• Qualified for NCAA Championship in singles and doubles all four years
• Four-time All-American
• Four-time UCSD Athlete of the Year
• Ranked No. 1 in singles and No. 4 in doubles nationally (1990)
• Ranked No. 1 in doubles and No. 4 in singles nationally (1989)
• Ranked No. 2 in singles and No. 10 in doubles nationally (1988)
